Ottica Riccio ships throughout Italy (except Livigno, free zones and the Vatican) and to some foreign countries, with couriers GLS, TNT, SDA, UPS and DHL.

Shipping to Italy is free for orders over €50, with Standard (2-3 working days) and Express (1-2 days) options available for a fee.

Shipments to Europe and Switzerland, Cyprus and the United States have variable costs and customs fees are paid by the recipient. Orders are entrusted to the couriers within 48 hours and deliveries take place from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 19:00. If there is no one to receive the package, the courier leaves a notice and puts it in storage. Shipments do not take place on holidays and during the weekend. Customer Service is available for information.

Eyeglass Care

Avoid rubbing your lenses when they are dry, as dust and dirt on the surface can scratch them. Before cleaning, rinse them under warm water and let them air dry whenever possible. For cleaning, use specific products and a soft cloth (inserted inside the case).

Handle your glasses by the bridge, not the arms, to avoid accidentally bending them. Never wear them on your head.

If you notice that the rods are misaligned, you can easily correct them with small maneuvers.

When you are not wearing them, store your glasses in the case to protect them from dust, scratches and accidental deformation. Make sure to always store them with the lenses facing up.

Avoid direct contact with splashes, cosmetics or perfumes, which could damage the surface of the lenses.

1. Countries we ship to
We ship with GLS, TNT, SDA, UPS and DHL couriers throughout Italy (peninsula and islands), excluding Livigno, free zones and the Vatican.

2. Shipping Costs Italy

  • Standard Shipping (2/3 working days):
    Free for orders over €50.00. €4.90 for orders under €50.00.
  • Express Shipping (1/2 working days):
    €9.90 for any amount.

3. Shipping to Europe and Abroad

  • Europe (excluding Italy, Switzerland and Cyprus):
    €19.90 up to €400.00, free over €400.00.
  • Switzerland and Cyprus:
    €39.90 for any amount, customs fees paid by the buyer.
  • United States:
    €45.00, customs fees paid by the buyer.

4. Order receipt times
The order is shipped within 24/48 hours from confirmation of product availability.

5. Delivery times
Deliveries Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Deliveries at specific times are not possible. Updates via email/SMS.

6. Absence at the time of delivery
If there is no one to receive the package, the courier leaves a note and informs us of the storage. We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses or absent recipients.

7. Non-shipping days
The courier does not ship on weekends and the following holidays:
January 1st and 6th, Easter, April 25th, May 1st, June 2nd, August 1st, November 1st, December 8th, 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st.

Return Terms

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery date .

The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, i.e. undamaged, unused and with all original labels intact.

Return Costs

The return is at the customer's expense , but we can offer you a prepaid return label at a cost of 5 euros .

The return label will be provided by our customer service and must be used to send the product back.

Reimbursement

The refund will be made within 3-5 working days of receiving the returned product.

The cash on delivery costs (5 euros) will never be refunded, not even in the case of a return.

Refund Methods

For customers who paid by cash on delivery or bank transfer , we ask you to provide your IBAN when opening the return, so that we can proceed with the refund via bank transfer .

Alternatively, you can receive a voucher of equal value, to spend on our website, with no expiry date.

If you have used other instant payment methods such as Debit/Credit Cards, Paypal, Scalapay, Klarna we will reverse the transaction with the same payment method.

Product Change

If you wish to exchange the product for another, the exchange fee is 10 euros . Any price differences between the returned product and the new product must be paid. If the new product has a higher cost, the balance can be paid upon delivery.

Exchange costs do not include any additional costs for the new product, which must be paid before shipment.

Do your products have a warranty?

Yes, all our products have a warranty (almost always 2 years) provided by the manufacturer. The warranty is activated only in case of structural defect of the product and not for accidental damage.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of receiving the product, as long as the item is in its original condition and has not been used. The same goes for exchanges.
