Shipping Times and Costs

Here you will find all the information regarding our shipping policies, costs and delivery times. If you have any questions or concerns, our Customer Service is at your disposal.

1. Countries we ship to

We ship with GLS , TNT , SDA , UPS and DHL couriers.
Ottica Riccio ships throughout Italy (peninsula and islands), with the exception of Livigno , free zones and the Vatican .

2. Shipping Costs Italy (Peninsula and Islands)

  • Standard Shipping (2/3 working days):

    • Free for orders over €50.00 .
    • €4.90 for orders under €50.00 .
  • Express Shipping (1/2 working days):

    • Fixed cost of €9.90 for any amount or product.

3. Shipping to Europe (Italy, Switzerland and Cyprus excluded)

  • Standard Shipping (3/5 working days):

    • €19.90 for orders up to €400.00 .
    • Free for orders over €400.00 .
  • Shipping to Switzerland and Cyprus :

    • €39.90 for orders of any amount.
    • Customs charges are the buyer's responsibility
  • Shipping to the United States :

    • €45.00 for orders of any amount.
    • Customs charges are the buyer's responsibility

Please note:

Any customs charges and duties are always the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the shipping cost.

4. Time of order receipt

Once the availability of the ordered products has been confirmed, your order is entrusted to the courier within 24/48 hours . The delivery times indicated are for shipments made to the peninsula and islands .

5. Delivery times of the product(s)

The courier delivers from Monday to Friday , between 8:00 and 19:00 . It is not possible to request deliveries in specific time slots or by prior telephone contact.
You will receive updates on the status of your shipment via email or SMS .

6. At the time of delivery there is no one present to receive the courier

If there is no one to receive the package at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a notice of passage . Subsequently, the courier will contact the Ottica Riccio staff to inform us that the package is in storage at the courier's warehouse.
We are not responsible for delivery delays due to courier strikes , incorrect addresses , or absent recipients .

Please note that shipments may be delayed during holiday periods . Ottica Riccio will provide instructions for the package to be re-delivered.

7. Days on which shipments are not made

The express courier does not ship on Saturdays and Sundays . Furthermore, it does not ship on the following dates, which could cause delays in the expected delivery times:

  • May 1st
  • June 2nd
  • August 15th
  • November 1st
  • December 8th
  • December 24th
